About

I am a macroeconomist (yes, that’s right) who tries to get his feet in the realm of advanced amateur photography whenever I get bored of equations and models. Photonautics is a combination of the two things I love most – photography and water sports, especially sailing and diving.

If you have already come that far I would like to thank you for your interest and hope the pictures I present here will make you smile, wonder or just travel away. Enjoy the collection of photographs and, to a smaller extent, text and come back again. And share. And recommend.

Yeah, right. Photographs from photonautics may be used for private (i.e. non-commercial) purposes with explicit and written permission from the author of photonautics only. If you want to use one or more of the photographs, please indicate furthermore that the copyright is with photonautics and link to the original source. For now, I do not want to earn money with the photographs. This may change over time, so if you want to use/duplicate photographs from photonautics for commercial purposes, contact me through the contact formular at the bottom of the home page.

Tata…
