Second round…more “abstract” than before. The picture above shows the north part of a structure called “The Oculus“, designed by Santiago Calatrava, a Spanish architect, which stretches over a mall (pretty high-end expensive stuff) and a subway station. Again, my dear ‘Mericans…you are welcome. First we discover you, than we build you nice structures…tranquilo, just messing around with you. Anyhow it’s a pretty fascinating structure, captivating and certainly an invitation to stay a little longer in this area.
The end of the year is approaching quickly, so taking stock is part of the game, althouth I plan to have at least one more post published before this damn year of 2016 finally adds itself on history’s pile of BS: David Bowie…dead, Alan Rickman…not in Hogwarts anymore, Leonard Cohen…gone, and Trump president…giant WTF!!! However, and as always, not enjoying oneself would not help very much…so I’m enjoying that 500 visitors from all continents and around 50 countries have sneaked in Photonautics – I hope you like what you saw?! If not you should have told me…now it’s too late…
I do hope you are enjoying yourself as much as I did this year (taking stock of it also next time)…Tata!
Very cool architectural abstracts!
