Rising High - Barcelona

Rising High – Barcelona

Folks, I’m not even apologizing for the delay this time, sorry. I need to get to know two new friends who will accompany me to Belize in four weeks from now: my Scubapro Mantis dive computer and my GoPro Hero 4 Silver (yey for the gadgets, and double-yey for the trip!). Sharks, whale-sharks, turtles, manatees, all sorts of rays…you name it…it is there. So I’m there as well. Let’s see about the quality of all my dive instructors once I’m in the water with the big things and handle a camera and a dive computer…and the Great Blue Hole. Freakin hole in the sea bed.

With regard to the photograph above: During a great (but short) trip to Barcelona, we went to Montserrat, this weird monastery in weirder mountains built by weirdos with a looooooooot of time. Beautiful nonetheless, the views in particular (more to follow on that). For whatever reason they erected this rather strange structure in front of…mmmmmh…vast nothingness until one sees Barcelona in the very back and the mediterranean sea behind it. Got it, you can’t see much in this version (I love the black), but I will post the original soon, so you have a benchmark. I am experimenting with more obscure forms of editing, so feel free to tell me what you like or don’t like.

I would like to thank Gerhard, Tina and Ingrid for being great company there…will never forget the laughter during first evening’s dinner-and-drinking-session. It was a much needed distraction!! Besitos y abrazos fuertes compañeros :-). Hasta la próxima…

To the rest of you…enjoy what you are doing or change it…Tata!
