Arches in the Old Town of Koper

Arches in the Old Town of Koper

Well, what is there to say? Still feeling amazed by living in the 2nd largest german-speaking city (Vienna is quickly approaching 2 million people), only second to Berlin (3.5 million or so) and just surpassed Hamburg. No worries, we Austrians like to have a goal set, in particular when it is about winning against the Germans… ;-).

The photograph above was taken during a short trip through Styria and Slovenia last summer. After dinner in the nice city of Koper (but incomparable to the southern parts of the Adriatic!), I took my camera and just shot a couple of random pictures. That’s the outcome. As always, feel free to share your thoughts or comment.

Aaaaand, I found some new friends…for my ears. Check out Steaming Satellites, an amazingly talented band from Salzburg. I just saw them play in Vienna at beautiful Haus der Musik and it was massive, one of the best rock performances I have seen  – thumbs up. Another one is british band Daughter, with the amazing Elena Tonra lending the band her breathtaking voice. Can’t wait to see you play.

As always, enjoy whatever you are doing…Tata!

PS: “When spring came, even the false spring, there were no problems except where to be happiest. The only thing that could spoil a day was people and if you could keep from making engagements, each day had no limits. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself.” (Ernest Hemingway)
