Liepnitzsee - Germany

Liepnitzsee – Germany

All you researchers out there…I have a question: Are you seriously able to do research right now? Is anybody able to seriously work right now? Holy moly, summer this year is awesome…and it lasts only 3 months max in continental Europe (no, even a nice May or September is not summer!). However, writing my papers is seriously suffering right now so I thought I give you (and myself) something nice to watch. The photograph of this week shows Liepnitzsee, a nice little lake not too far from Berlin, in the vaaaast nowhere of north Brandenburg. Depending on which part of the photograph you are looking at, it is either symmetrical (around the horizontal center) or not (everywhere else). And I kinda think that’s nice…and unusual…and unconventional…A NEW DEAL so to speak…okay, I am exaggerating but Roosevelt, in his first inaugural speech, once said “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”…I’d amend that to: “The only thing we have to fear is winter itself.”

Now take a close look at the lake, get inspired…get your stuff and go for a swim if you can…I’ll grab my economics books and papers (which I, of course, only bring and never read) and go out…enough economic depresson for one day…Tata!
