A Day’s Bloody End // Eivissa

Sunset in San Agustín - Eivissa

Sunset in San Agustín – Eivissa

A little detour this time. So far, I have published monochromes only. However, I couldn’t refrain from publishing this picture. I was fascinated from the moment I started editing this one for my private collection, although I didn’t do much except add some contrast and reduce exposure to create the black silhouette. The picture was taken in the 70-or-so-people-village of San Agustín close to Cala Comte, Es Vedra and Torre des Savinar. So it is a perfect spot for daytrips…and for sunsets, obviously.

I would like to dedicate this picture to a couple of amazing people for hosting me, joining me on beach days and for being a great bunch of people to hang out with: Gerhard, Martina, Tina, Oliver, Vanessa, Domenico, and the “mother of sausages” (grundgute Wurstmutter) with her sausage-filled little kiosk at the medieval festival in Eivissa.

Además, espero que ustedes lo hacen a través de la temporada alta de lo más tranquilo posible. Ojalá, vamos a vernos de nuevo lo antes posible. Besitos y abrazos…
